Photo Review: City Tour of Singapore

Posted by City Discovery on April 18, 2011

The City Tour of Singapore is ideal for those who have limited time. At only 3.5 hours, this well-planned itinerary includes all the must-see sights in Singapore. A drive around the Civic district takes visitors to Padang, the Cricket Club, the historic Parliament House, the Supreme Court and City Hall.

Travelers can have a photo taken with the Merlion or just enjoy the great views of Marina Bay. Next stop is the Thian Hock Keng Temple, one of Singapore’s oldest Buddhist-Taoist temples. The tour proceeds to Chinatown, National Orchid Garden and Little India.

“We had five stops in our city tour: Merlion park, an old buddhist temple, the gems/jade stone place, the National Orchid Garden, and Little India. Personally, I could have done without the gems and jade  stones stop. Little India was ok. The other three spots were great!”
