Uncover the sights of Naples and Pompeii and spend a day exploring the historical areas and ruins.

Drive through the vineyard-covered Castelli Romani hillsides across the region of Ciociaria and view the Abbey of Montecassino, completely rebuilt after World War II. Arrive in Naples where you can find the Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, Maschio Angioino, Castel dell’Ovo, the San Carlo Opera House and the Gallery of Umberto I. Conclude your Naples excursion on the hill of Posilipo, which looks out to spectacular views of the Gulf of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius.

Continue onto Pompeii where visitors can enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before exploring the remains  of the city buried by Mt. Vesuvius. Return to Rome at 17:30.

We thought that Vincent , our guide was excellent, and the meal at Pompeii was special. We liked the way the trip was spaced out with stops, and the tour itself through Naples and Pompeii. - Garry B., Australia

It was a great trip. Certainly was better than going on your own by train. We found Pompeii fabulous, and would have liked to spend more time there than in Naples. It was a highlight of my trip to Rome. My recommendation when in Rome: Visit the Vatican and visit Pompeii! - Salma H., Canada
